Four Masters will Play Ardara in the SRB Division 1 final while five teams compete for the last 3 semi-final places in Division 2. Naomh Bríd top SRB Division 2
Four Masters topped the SRB Division 1 minor league following their win in Ardara last night. The Donegal town side won all six of their games. The tussle for second place between Ardara and Aodh Ruadh provided the only real competition in the division with Ardara coming out on top by virtue of a narrow two point win in Ballyshannon, their encounter in Pearse Memorial Park ending all square. Naomh Conaill conceded all six of their games. Consequently Ardara will play Four Masters in the Division 1 final.

It is a different story in Division 2 with four semi-final places up for grabs. There is one Round left to play, but there are also a few important outstanding games which are crucial to filling the last two semi-final berths. Unbeaten Naomh Bríd are guaranteed a place with one game left against second place Naomh Naille. While Naomh Naille are a strong position to qualify even if they lose to Naomh Bríd they are not guaranteed a semi-final berth. Each of Killybegs, Realt na Mara, Dungloe or Naomh Columba can reach eight points or better and with the right set of results any three of the four can achieve eight points or more.

The final Round was originally scheduled for next Friday but with both Dungloe and Killybegs having three fixtures left to play and the placings so fluid the SRB will be meeting over the weekend to finalise the schedule for the remaining seven fixtures.
