Donegal GAA and sports nutrition brand For Goodness Shakes have joined forces in a new partnership.
Donegal GAA are using a range of For Goodness Shakes recovery and protein products for their senior squad. As part of the partnership, the For Goodness Shakes logo is now positioned on the back of the Donegal jersey, and will be worn by the team for the first time during their Ulster Final clash with Monaghan this weekend.
“We use the For Goodness Shakes Protein range post gym sessions and the For Goodness Shakes Recovery after intense on-field training. Both products supply all essential nutrients for our players to help them recover so they are ready for the next session. They also taste great; the chocolate protein is very popular after a tough gym session with our players” said Paul Fisher, Strength and Conditioning coach with Donegal GAA.
Michael Murphy, Donegal GAA senior captain and owner, Michael Murphy Sports also commented: “For Goodness Shakes are extremely tasty products, very convenient in the ready-to-drink format and have an exceptional nutritional profile”.
From being trialled by athletes in the Beijing Olympics, For Goodness Shakes has gone on to be one of the biggest selling recovery and protein ready-to-drink brands. The dairy based protein brand was acquired by Aurivo Co-Op earlier this year.
For Goodness Shakes Protein and Recovery products, alongside the brand’s Ultimate Protein are now widely available through leading retailers nationwide.
