There were many stars in a superb team effort from Donegal Hurlers i bPáirc Uí Dhomhnaill yesterday in their brilliant performance against Maigh Eo. It was all the more heartening in showing the character of the team in bouncing back from a dis-spiriting defeat in Newbridge to a very slick Kildare outfit the previous Saturday. Few of the Donegal players sparkled as brightly on the mostly sunny afternoon as Declan Coulter whose personal tally of 2-8 included two excellently executed goals. Indeed, had he stayed on the pitch for the full game his tally would have been even higher.
Well deserving of the Player of the Week title – get voting please.
