Club Lotto

Club membership for 2016 is now due and can be paid to our Club Registrar Lorraine McDaid or any of the main officers.

Senior Ladies

Senior Ladies continue their training every Wednesday & Friday evening in Foden from 6.45pm – 8.15pm.

Jigs & Reels

What a great night we all had in The Plaza at our Jigs & Reels show on Saturday night. Congratulations to all the dancers who took part and their dance teachers Finvola and Darcy for such a great show. A special word of thanks to the great support we received from our sponsors and all who attended on the night. The atmosphere was fantastic and it really was a night to remember.

Underage Football

Underage training for our Under 8’s, 10’s and 12’s continues every Saturday at 11.00am in Foden.

We also now offer Fundamentals training for Under 6’s every Saturday from 11.15am-12.15pm in Foden.

Under 12 Girls

All Under 12 Girls are asked to attend training every Saturday morning in Foden at 11.00am.

Under 14 Girls

Under 14 Girls training continues every Wednesday 5.15pm-6.30pm. Girls need to bring runners, boots, mouth guard and €2. The season begins April 2nd so it’s important that all players attend. Contact Joanne on 087 2885852 if unable to attend.

Under 14 Boys

U14 boys training takes place Saturday at 1.00pm in Foden. Matches will be starting shortly.

Underage Hurling & Camogie Equipment

The club are asking anyone with hurling or camogie helmets, hurls or sliotars that they may no longer use to contact us if you would be interested in donating them to the club as we are looking to ensure that there is sufficient equipment for all of our underage players. Easter Camp

The club will be hosting an Easter Camp on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th March. The Camp is open to all Primary School Children over 6. It will run each day from 10.00am to 1.00pm with registration on the first morning at 9.30am. For further information contact Connell at 086 3866363

Congratulations

Congratulations to our Senior Ladies Player Deirdre Foley who was on the successful UCD Team winning the O’Connor Cup in Tralee at the weekend.

Also Congratulations to Elaine McLaughlin who was on the Donegal Under 14 Team who won the Ulster Under 14 Blitz.

Underage Hurling

U8 Hurling takes place every Friday evening at 5pm in CCS gym. All boys born in 2008 or 2009 are welcome to come along. Helmets and Hurley sticks will be supplied.  U10 Hurling training continues every Friday evening from 6-7 in CCS gym.

U12 Hurling training continues every Friday in St. Patricks Girls NS gym at 5.45pm to 7.00pm

Underage Camogie

Camogie training for all age groups up to Under 16 starts Thursday the 7th April at 6 pm in Foden. This training will also include our Under 8’s after the Easter holidays.

County Camogie Board

There will be a bucket collection on Easter Saturday and Sunday in Carn for the County Camogie board. Anyone who can help please ring Tricia on 086 3336542 or Mary on 086 1601646.

Senior, Reserve and Minor Football

Our Senior Men lost their Tom Farren Memorial Cup match against Malin with a score of 2-15 to 2-10 on Saturday. It was a close game but a number of missed chances proved costly in the end.

Our Minor Team played against Malin on Sunday in the Inishowen League and the match ended in a draw with a score of 1-8 to 0-11.

Training this week will take place on Tuesday at 7.30pm & Thursday at 5.30pm.

The All County League commences this week with an away game to Pettigo on Saturday.
