As Donegal’s successful Allianz League campaign draws to a close this weekend, hopefully with a trophy on board along with the treasured prize of promotion, the league season for Donegal’s clubs is just about to throw-in. Scheduled to begin on April 7th, the Brian McCormick Sports Division 1 All County league commences a week early, ie this Sunday March 31 with a rescheduled fixture idir Naomh Micheál agus Baile na nGalloglach ag Páirc Naomh Micheál, An Droichead, Dún Fionnachaidh. The Reserve match is at 1.30 pm and the Seniors at 3.30 pm.
There are four key sponsors for the football leagues this Season:
- Brian McCormick Sports for Division 1, Senior and Reserve;
- Marley Travel for Division 2, Senior and Reserve;
- YesChef for Division 3 and the new Regional Leagues;
- Jimmy McGlynn Catering for Division 4.
There will be a formal launch of the leagues next week.
