Trailing by two points – 1-7 to 1-5 at half-time, St Eunans were level going into the last few minutes but Gort na Móna pipped them at the finish to advance to the quarter finals on a 1-14 to 1-13 scoreline.
Setanta flew out of the blocks against Céide Lamh Dearg, leading by 2-2 to 0-5 after eight minutes and by 3-6 to 0-11 at half time. The Armagh Champions, however, piled on the points through the second half to run out 1-25 to 3-13 winners.
