Hurling takes centre stage in Donegal this weekend with the finals of the Senior and Junior championship on Saturday. Gates open at 1.00 pm and there are two exciting games in store with Aodh Ruadh and Carn Domhnaigh the opening game at 2.00 pm.
Aodh Ruadh, who had not fielded for a number of year’s are back with a bang having had an excellent league and championship campaign this year and beating Carndonagh, the 2019 Junior league champions will be the icing on the cake. Carndonagh have not fielded a senior team for even longer and manager Cathal Doherty says it is a great privilege “to be lining out in a Carn jersey in adult hurling” after 14 years with no team. Good luck to both teams in what should be a cracking final.
