The Allianz Cumann na mBunscol County Quiz was held on Wednesday night in the Mount Errigle Hotel. There was a huge crowd of parents, teachers and supporters from all over the county present.
There were 35 schools taking part and the competition was fierce.
The lead changed hands a number of times throughout the 10 rounds and a tie braker round was needed to sort out the winning places. The children’s knowledge of matters GAA was astounding!
Congratulations go to Scoil Cróine, Dungloe who just pipped Scoil Iosagáin, Buncrana for the county quiz title.
The top 4 teams now go through to the Ulster quiz to be held at an Antrim venue.
