Donegal Hurlers Start Allianz Campaign with a Win

Donegal hurlers got their Allianz Hurling Roinn 2B League campaign off to a flying start today with a 4 point win – 1-16 to 0-15 – against Sligo. Donegal led from early in the game and were 0-5 to 0-1 up after the first quarter. Sligo, however, never let the home side out of their sigh and by half-time a Ruari Campbell goal was all that separated the sides 1-8 to 0-8. Next up is a trip to Ruislip play London next weekend.

London just came up short in their game against Tyrone in Dungannon, late points from the home side giving them a 1-26 to 3-18 win. In the other tie in Roinn 2B, Meath were 2-24 to 2-14 winners over Wicklow.
