The Donegal Hurlers began their 2023 with a 32 point (3-31 to 0-8) win over Monaghan in today’s Conor McGurk quarterfinal at the Donegal GAA Centre in Convoy. The visitors hit the first point of the game but that was as good as it got for the Farney men. In the 12th minute Daire O’Maoileidigh’s goal made it 1-4 to 0-1 and by half-time the difference was 14 points, 2-11 to 0-3.
Earlier today Ulster University had three points to spare against Fermanagh as they progressed to the semi-finals on a 1-21 to 2-15 score-line. Tomorrow, Armagh play Antrim and Down take on QUB.
