Comhghairdeas Sean MacCumhaill as the curtain came down on the @MMurphySports 2022 Senior Championship in Glenswilly this afternoon. Sean MacCumhaills put a halt to Naomh Conaill’s gallop, winning the C Championship on a 0-7 to 0-6 scoreline.
It looked good for Naomh Conaill’s treble-chasing bid early on as they held a 0-3 to 0-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. A much better second fifteen minutes from the Twin Twins club saw them level it up but Naomh Conaill had the last score to take a 0-4 to 0-3 lead in at the break. Naomh Conaill maintained their lead through to the the eighteenth minute at when it levelled up again at 0-6 each. There would only one further crucial score as Sean MacCumhaill ran out 0-7 to 0-6 victors.
