Setanta 4:13
St Eunans 0-14
Comhghairdeas Setanta Hurling Club the 2023 Grand Canal Hotel Senior Hurling Champions. St Eunans battled hard throughout but Setanta’s goals were defining, two in the first half and two in the second were too much for the Letterkenny side to cope with. Coming up to break St Eunans had battled back to within a point but a penalty on the brink of half time seen them turn around 2-6 to 0-7 in arrears. Ruari Campbell’s third goal for Setanta nipped another Eunan’s comeback in the bud moving the score our to 3-8 to 0-11 and the same player hit the fourth on 15 minutes and while Eunan;s stuck the next two points Setanta cruised thereafter to a comfortable win.
Well don e to te St Eunans club who had the facilities in superb condition, the pitch holding up well to all three Hurling finals. Thanks as well to TOm Comack, Tom Hennessy, John Joe Doherty and Fergal Finn who answered a late call for the streaming and to sponsors LGRA and Padraig Lawlor, Hertnett Hayes and the Grand Canal Hotel, Dublin.
