Glenfin maintained their Division 1 status with a powerful second half display that killed off the challenge of promotion hopefuls Buncrana. Level at half-time 1-3 apiece, Glenfin goaled in the third minute of the second half and added another 1-4, with just a single point in reply for the challengers, over the next twenty minutes. Buncrana had the last two points of the game for a final score of 3-7 to 1-6.
In the Promotion/Relegation playoff for Division 2/3 it was joy for Naomh Pádraig Uisce Chaoin as they gained promotion and sent Burt to Division 3. The Division two side netted twice in the first quarter with Muff only managing a single point but the promotion hopefuls got it together in the last 10 minutes of the half to trail by just a point at the break – 2-1 to 1-3. A dull third quarter seen only two scores, a point apiece and with seven minutes of normal time remaining it was all square 2-3 to 1-6 before a goal for Naomh Pádraig put them in the driving seat. Burt pulled back to within a point in added time but a late late goal sealed promotion for Muff.
