At a Press Briefing in the Villa Rose Hotel, in Ballybofey this evening, Eoghan Bán Gallagher spoke about how heartening it was to see the level of support the senior team had when they travelled to Ennis, to play Clare in the opening round of the All Ireland Championship.
He expects that the the Donegal support will come out in force next Sunday when our senior team take on Derry, in Round 2 of the All Ireland Championship, Group 4 in
The sun will continue to shine as Seán MacCumhaill Park will host it’s first senior championship showdown of the summer.
The new championship format has thrown up a number of surprises since the opening games. With Donegal topping their group, they look forward to a good championship tousle with our neighbours’.
Ballybofey has been our fortress, so gather your Donegal hats and flags and come out to support your team.
