Donegal start Sam Maguire campaign with a win in Clare

Donegal were worthy winners in Ennis this afternoon after a storming second half against Clare. Four points behind at one stage and trailing 0-6 to 0-3 at the break they took the lead for the first time 23 minutes into the second half when a Hugh McFadden point edged them 0-8 to 0-7 ahead and they finished strongly to win by five points 0-14 to 0-9.
