Donegal under 17’s are through to the Ulster Semi Final of the Electric Ireland Minor Championship, following a one point win over Cavan at Breffni Park yesterday evening.
Donegal 1-11, Cavan 2-7
Donegal who led by three points at half-time, let the lead slip, until they found themselves six points down with six minutes to go. Great leadership was shown in those dying minutes and Donegal responded with a goal and a flurry of points in an exciting end to this Ulster Quarter final.
Donegal will now meet Derry in the semi final, which is scheduled for next weekend.
