That special time of the year has arrived again, and the GAA are looking forward to celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge once again. We would like to invite GAA members and clubs from all over Ireland and, indeed, all over the globe to join with us in celebrating this festival and in using and practicing whatever Irish they have, in whatever way they can, between now and the 17th of March, St. Patrick’s Day.
There will be a lot happening on gaa.ie during the festival and we invite you to keep up to date with everything on the Irish section of the website HERE.
Among the various events and activities we have planned are the launch of Ambasadóir Gaeilge CLG 2023, competitions for primary and secondary schools as well as a competition for older teenagers and adults. We will have GAA feature articles, other activities for primary and secondary schools, the latest edition of the GAA’s Irish language magazine, ‘Cuaille’, Lá Idirnáisiúnta na mBan and lots, lots more!
Join in the social media conversation at #SnaG23 and #GAAgaeilge!
Seachtain na Gaeilge will take place this year between the 1st and 17th of March and further information can be got on Seachtain na Gaeilge’s website
