Ádh mór le to Mickey McCann and the Donegal senior hurlers in the Ulster GAA Conor McGurk final next Thursday evening. The opposition are Ulster University and the sliothar will be thrown in at 8 pm in the Dub Arena in Belfast. Donegal won their quarterfinal against Monaghan back in early January and got a bye from Antrim in the semi-final.
University of Ulster beat Fermanagh by three points in their quarterfinal, followed by a comfortable 2-27 to 1-17 win over Queens University, conquerors of reigning champions Down, in the semi-final.
Admission is free as Donegal strive to go one step better than in 2022 when they lost in extra time to a late Down score. As was the case last year it’s win on the day with extra time and penalties if required.
