It was not a great weekend for Donegal’s County teams none of the six in action managing to avoid defeat. The Senior Hurlers lost out in Páirc Tealtainn against a strong Meath side who are now the only unbeaten team in Allianz Hurling Division 2B. Mickey McCann’s squad’s next Roinn 2B game is against Derry in Letterkenny in to weeks time.
In the double-header in Convoy the minor and the u-20s development squads lost out to Down. Both are in action again this coming weekend. In the Danny McNaughton Cup, the minors are again in Convoy – another double-header- where they will take on Derry at 12 noon on Saturday. The second game, Donegal v Derry in the u20s, throws in at 1:30 pm.
