The deadline for nominations for the Bank of Ireland Ulster GAA Community Support Award has been extended to Monday, November 28th, The award was created to recognise the outstanding contribution of GAA Clubs in their communities.
Ulster GAA is an inclusive, club and community focused organisation that is modern, innovative, and driven by volunteers. Our clubs are at the centre of communities and Ulster GAA know that many of them go over and above their day-to-day operational activities to promote outreach, equality, diversity and inclusivity. They want to hear about and showcase all of the fantastic work carried out by clubs in their wider communities and are calling on club officials to submit an application on behalf of their own clubs to highlight what they have been involved in over the last year.
After nominations have closed, a panel of experts will select a shortlist, to include one finalist from each county and they will receive a certificate and a £250 O’Neill’s Sports equipment voucher. The panel will then review the nine county winners together and select the standout club who will claim the overall Bank of Ireland Ulster GAA Community Support Award, as well as receive a plaque and £1000 O’Neill’s Sports equipment voucher.
