This weekend sees the Scór Sinsir 2022 All-Ireland Finals take place in Castlebar’s TF Royal Hotel and Theatre. Coiste Náisiúnta Scór expect a crowd of in excess of 1,200 and look forward to a fantastic day’s entertainment. Doors open at 1.15pm. Donegal will be represented by GLF An Clochán Liath in the Nucleas (Novelty) and by Aodh Ruadh in Tráth na gCeist. In the Novelty Act competition, Dungloe have a tremendous act which is about the famine times and evictions in Ireland with a strong emphasis on Donegal. They are quality actors and tremendous singers as there is a great deal of acting and singing in the piece they are doing which is in Irish and English in equal measures. It is great to see Donegal so well represented at the All Ireland finals of Scór Sinsir and we wish both clubs that are representing Donegal the very best of luck.
