There were two very tight games in the Intermediate quarterfinals today. At The Bridge a late Aidan McAteer goal saw Fanad Gaels beat Downings by a point while in O’Donnell Park Red Hughs scored the last five points, having been 1-5 to no score behind at one stage but Termon held on to win 1-8 to 0-10. Naomh Columba finished well clear of Buncrana. The draw for the semi-finals see Naomh Columba meet Fanad Gaels in both the A and B championships while Termon meet Dungloe in the A semi-final and Naomh Mhuire Convoy in the B.
