The results in the final two games in the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Junior A championship, played yesterday evening, resulted in wins for Naomh Ultan and Naomh Adhamhnáin. Last weekend saw Letterkeny Gaels progress directly to the semi-finals with quarterfinal places for Carndonagh and Na Rossa. Yesterday’s results see Urris, Naomh Ultan and St Eunans all locked on three points. The table below sees Urris top the table on points difference across all their games. However, as per match regulations – rule 6.21 – places for the purposes of the quarterfinal placings is determined by the results between the tied clubs. In this case Naom Ultan are +4, St Eunans +2 and Urris -6. Thus, Naomh ultan go directly to the quarterfinals while Eunans and Urris play in the quarterfinals. the resultant fixtures, to be played the weekend of Sept 16-18 are:
