The 8 Round 4 fixtures in the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Donegal Senior A championship will all throw-in at 3:00 pm next Sunday, Sept 4th. they will be preceded by the Senior B games at 1:30 pm. The top eight teams progress to the quarter-finals with 1 v 8, 2 v7, 3 v6 and 4 v 5. Quarterfinals will be played the weekend Sept 16 – 18 and all games games will be at neutral venues.
The bottom four teams will enter the relegation playoffs with 13 v 16 and 14 v 15. These two semi-finals will be played on the weekend Sept 23-25 and again they will be at neutral venues. The 2022 championship will be over for clubs in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th.
