The final league round of the Grand Canal Hotel Summer Senior Championship takes place on Wednesday evening with all games throwing in at 7:30 pm.
The top four teams play in the Senior Championship, while those placed fifth to eight play in the Intermediate championship .Only Burt v Aodh Ruadh has nothing riding on the result. Burt are already through to the Senior semi-final in 2nd or 3rd place, while Aodh Ruadh are in eight, even if they win in Hibernian Park. Setanta are top regardless but their opponents Carndonagh are one of five teams who could play either Senior or Intermediate depending on results – Buncrana, Dungloe, Saint Eunans and Sean MacCumhaills will all be looking for victories . With some games having gone to walkovers points difference is irrelevant in the event of three way ties and play-offs may be required.
