The Donegal minors will travel to Clones next Saturday to play Monaghan in what is effectively an Ulster Minor Championship semi-final, although officially designated as Qualifier Round 3 – Monaghan won the toss for venue. The Donegal team were 5 points adrift of Derry at the final whistle in Owenbeg while elsewhere Tyrone beat Antrim, Monaghan won in Newry and Cavan beat Fermanagh.

In the other “quarter-final” Antrim take on Cavan with the winners meeting Derry in the semi-final. Should Donegal triumph next Saturday they will play Tyrone at a neutral venue on Saturday May 21st. Tickets are not yet on sale.
