Donegal start their 2022 Nicky Rackard Cup campaign this Sunday in Fermanagh. Throw-in is at 2pm and tickets must be purchased in advance. No cash will be taken at the gate. The link to buy tickets – €10 for adults, u-16s are free – is on the Donegal GAA home page
There are six teams in the Nickey Rackard – Armagh, Roscommon, Tyrone and Warwickshire as well as Donegal and Fermanagh. It will be played on a Round Robin basis with each county having five games and the top two qualifying for the final. The bottom placed team will be relegated to the Lory Meagher Cup. Donegal’s remaining games, two each home and away, are:
Round 2 – Donegal v Armagh; Round 3 – Donegal v Roscommon; Round 4 – Warwickshire v Donegal and Round 5 – Tyrone v Donegal.
The final, should Donegal qualify, will be on Saturday May 21st or Sunday May 22nd.
