Donegal have named their squad to play Sligo at noon today in the last of their four u-17 Jim McGuigan Cup league games. The game is in Páirc Sheáin MhicCumhaill and admission is free.
Donegal are on four points out of a possible six, as are Derry who play Fermanagh today. Cavan have played all four and are on six points already having beaten Donegal in Breffni Park – Donegal beat Derry in Celtic Park and Cavan lost at the same venue. Wins today for Derry and Donegal will result in a a three-way tie on six points a place in the final against the winner of the other Group will depend on points difference.
The u-17s Ulster Championship campaign commences on April 16th when they meet the winners of the Down/Fermanagh preliminary round game.
