Donegal’s u-17s had a convincing home win in the U-17s Development league for the Jim McGuigan Cup last weekend. They accounted for Fermanagh on a 2-13 to 0-7 scoreline in the Donegal GAA centre in Convoy. This Saturday to travel to play Cavan in Kingspan Breffni Park.
In the Ulster Leagues there were wins for Letterkenny Gaels, Four Masters, Buncrana who beat Naomh Bríd and Naomh Padraig Leifear got a walkover from Sean Dolans (Doire). Na Rossa didn’t field due to the illness of their president Michael Duddy, ar dheis Dhé go raibh an h-anam dilis. In the Ulster GAA Hurling Development League Setanta had a convincing win over Monaghan Harps, Aodh Ruadh got a walkover from Cootehill and Four Masters were beaten by Lisbellaw.
This coming Saturday Downings are away to Belcoo. On Sunday in the football leagues Na Rossa are in Tyrone to play Drumragh, Naomh Padraig Leifear play Naomh Colmcille, Letterkenny Gaels are away to Doire Trasna. In hurling on Sunday, Lisnaskea host Aodh Ruadh, Dungloe are home to Erne Gaels, Four Masters are away to East Cavan Gaels, Setanta travel to Cootehill and Letterkenny Gaels are in Fermanagh where they will play Lisbellaw.
