Realt na Mara and Glenswilly, both on three points, are already in the relegation playoffs. Depending on results from the two remaining Round 8, and the full Round 9, fixtures two from from five teams can find themselves in the remaining relegation playoff slots – Na Cella Beaga, Ard an Ratha, Cloich Cheann Fhaola, Gaoth Dobhair and Cill Chartha.

All games must be played by August 29th with the weekend of Sept 3/4/5 free in the event further games before the remaining tow teams in the relegation playoffs are determined. one of a number of such examples is all three of Ardara, Cloughaneely and Killybegs finishing on seven points.
Naomh Conaill moved a step closer to adding the Division 1B title to their Division 1 title following victory over Realt na Mara in Gaelic Park this evening.
