The media, locally and nationally, are stepping up to the plate to ensure Donegal’s supporters have a wide and varied choice for live coverage of the two finals this Sunday.
First up on Sunday at 1.30 our hurlers go to battle with Mayo in the Nickey Rackard final. All three local radio stations will have live coverage. Charlie Collins and Maurice McLoughlin will commentate on the first-half on 105 fm, the Donegal frequency for Ocean FM, and on oceanfm.ie while the second-half will be on all their frequencies. The commentary team for Radio na Gaeltachta will be announced shortly while Ger McNally and Tom Comack will be live from Croke Park for Highland Radio. Throw-in at Croke Park is at 1.30. While the game will not be shown live on conventional TV channels it is available as a live stream, at no charge, from the TG4 Youtube channel. The link to this channel is on the Donegal GAA TV webpage. A link to the Match Programme will also be on the site within the next hour or so.

Oisin Kelly, Martin McHugh and Brendan Kilcoyne will be there to bring live coverage from Highland Radio while Paddy McGill and Mark McHugh will be commenting live for Ocean FM on all their frequencies. Radio na Gaeltachta’s Damien O’Donnell will be bringing a more neutral perspective to their commentary, as Gaeilge, with Tyrone man Lorcan Martin providing the expert analysis. On the TV there is a choice for viewers between RTE 2 and BBC 2. A link to the match programme will be available on Donegal GAA TV as soon as it becomes available.
Representatives of all other Donegal media, and @officialdonegal, will provide twitter and other social media updates throughout both games.
