As everyone knows Covid-19 has already led to cancellation of all GAA activity to March 29th. It is very very likely that this will go on beyond that date. While CLG Dhún na nGall have made no announcement about what is going to happen re our league and championship games, at all levels match scheduling is being looked at under different scenarios and more on this issue will be publicised in the near future.
At National level Feile 2020 – Donegal was one of the three host venues – has been cancelled. All county academy football has also been cancelled as has the Celtic Challenge. Further cancellations are likely to be announced at National level in the coming days and the GAA have postponed the season’s first championship game, New York v Galway, and signalled that the fixtures calendar will be amended.
Please continue to exercise caution relating to social distancing and coughing and sneezing etiquette and continue to refer to the HSE for more detailed advice.
