The Level 1 Youth and Adult Course for South Donegal is ongoing in Fr Tierney Park Ballyshannon, having commenced this weekend and completing next Saturday. The Level 1 Youth & Adult Coaching Courses for the East starts in Páirc Naomh Columba, Glenswilly on the 6th of December and continues on the 7th & 14th of the month. The Award 1 course is designed to account for the different playing capacities between children (up to 12 years), youths (age 13 – 18) and Adults (age 19+) and the competencies that a coach requires when working with each of the playing populations. Therefore, coaches can specialise in coaching the particular players that they are involved with. Coaches must have completed a Foundation course before progressing to Level 1.
