Donegal hurlers lost out to Sligo in an u-14 tournament in Monaghan yesterday. Donegal overcame the hosts in the semi-final to meet Sligo, who had beaten Fermanagh.
Despite a brave performance, the Donegal boys fell victim to some outstanding hurling from Sligo. This is the end of the season for the U14 Donegal County team and well done to all the players in this development squad who gave their best throughout the year. These boys will be successful in the future as this group of u14 boys played in an u15 competition this year and didn’t do too bad.
