Its almost done and dusted in Brian McCormick Sports and Leisure Division 1. Cill Chartha are league champions and will be presented with the trophy in Moyle Park on Saturday. Baile na nGalloglach are relegated. They are possibly joined by any of Cloich Cheann Fhaola, Gleann tSúilí, Naomh Micheál or Realt na Mara but Sean MacCumhaill’s are the most likely to fall through the trapdoor. They need to win in Machaire Gathlán on Sunday against a Gaoth Dobhair side that are unbeaten at home since May, win again the following week at home to Realt na Mara and hope that other results go favourably. In the Reserve League, Naomh Ádhamhnáin will almost certainly win the title although theoretically they can still be overhauled.

Marley Travel Division 2 league champions Ard an Ratha will be joined in Division 1 next year by one of Aodh Ruadh, Na Cealla Beaga or Naomh Naille with Sunday’s game in Mountcharles between Aodh Ruadh and Naomh Naille the tie of the weekend. At the other end Buncranncha are already relegated and Four Masters are most likely to join them although Gleann Fhinne and Naomh Columba are not safe yet. The winners of Friday’s game in Páirc Taobhoige will, however, be safe before Four Masters also go to Glenfin on Sunday. The Reserve title is still up for grabs between Glenfin and Killybegs.

The Yes Chef Catering Division 3 title is still up for grabs between An Bheart and Na Dúnaibh, the favourites for promotion. Wins for both over the coming week will quash any slim hope Málainn, Naomh Bríd and Naomh Mhuire Conmhaigh harbout of Division 2 football next year. At the bottom it is a three-way fight between Naomh Colmcille, Naomh Muire Íochtár na Rosann and Naomh Ultan with Naomh Colmcille holding a slight advantage.
