The draw for “Buy a Brick”, a fundraiser to help finance the new Centre of Excellence at Convoy was held this morning in the County offices in Ballybofey and overseen by local Garda Sergeant Kieran McGrath.
First out of the hat for the top prize of 4 Hurling tickets for the All-Ireland final and accommodation in the 4-star Grand Canal Hotel was Declan O’Donnell in San Francisco. Second prize went to Angela McRory from Letterkenny – a weekend getaway for two in the luxury Croke Park Hotel in Dublin and O’Neill’s Sports in Strabane won the third prize of a weekend getaway for two in a Donegal hotel.
Phase 2 of the Centre is scheduled for completion before the end of 2019 and planning has already begun on Phase 3.
