Na Dunaibh won the Soisear Comórtás title for the second year in a row on Monday. Leading by double scores, 2-6 to 1-3 at the break they were never troubled by Baile Átha’n Ghaortaidh in the second half and ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-4.
In Comórtás Sinsir, Cill Cartha were cruelly defeated by the last kick of the game, a super lofted point from near the sideline at the end of extra time. It was the second time in two days, Kilcar were taken to extra time and despite heroically drawing level in added time, the hosts immediately went up the field for the final killer score. Final score, Cill Chartha 0-11 An Ghaeltacht 0-12.
