CLG Sean MacCumhaill hosted a successful open night with National and local media in Ballybofey last night night. There is a long history of local rivlary between the counties, with extra spice added by Rory Gallagher’s management of Fermanagh.
The key message from Declan Bonner and his players was that this will be a tough encounter with little quarter given. Nothing should be read into either of the recent meetings – Fermanagh’s win earlier this year in the Allianz League or Donegal’s victory in Clones in the Ulster final last June.
