Saturday was a memorable day for Neil McGee, He broke the record for the number of appearances for Donegal, coming on in the 13th minute for his 174th competive game and ending the record held by another Donegal legend, Naomh Micheál’s Colm McFadden. Adding to that honour, of course, was the joy of winning an Allianz league medal as Donegal were crowned Roinn 2 champions. Neil made his competitive debut against Fermanagh in the Dr McKenna Cup in 2005. One hopes he will have many more appearances and a few honours added over the next few years. Comhghairdeas Neil
