Our county hurlers picked up two league points Sunday afternoon with a resounding 5-18 to 0-17 win against Warwickshire. With goals from Kevin Kealy (2), Ronan McDermott, Lee Henderson and Paddy Hannigan the game was effectively over at half-time with Donegal leading 3-9 to 0-4 and by 4-13 to 0-5 as the game approached the final quarter, which saw a spirited revival by Warwickshire. With a relegation play-off between these two sides already scheduled for next Saturday March 9th, neither wanted to show their full hand with both resting key players. Nevertheless it was good to see Donegal put in a strong performance, give experience to players from the wider panel and get their first two Roinn 2B league points.
