With the under age hurling getting to the latter stages of the season the under 16s championship semi finals have been contested recently. In a terrific A semi final St Eunan’s had a point to spare against Four Masters 3-12 to 2-14 to book their place in the final.
Dungloe travelled to Buncrana in the second semi final and again this was another tight affair as the teams could not be separated as a replay is required with the final score 2-5 to 1-8.
The under 16s B final will be between Setanta and Burt. The replay and finals dates will be finalised in the coming days.
The under 16s League final winners included St Eunans who overcame Buncrana to claim the Under 16s A league Final. Dungloe defeated Four Masters to lift the A shield.
Burt were the B league champions after defeating Setanta and Aodh Ruadh, Ballyshannon overcame Letterkenny Gaels to secure the B plate.
Congratulations to all teams that reached finals this season and a big thanks to clubs who hosted neutral matches and made their pitches and facilities available.
