The sole survivor of the first Donegal minor team Leo McGinley (RIP) of Kilcar passed away earlier today (Sunday 10/12/2017) Leo had turned 100 in July of this year and was a frequent visitor to his native Kilcar, Leo later moved to County Limerick. ( Leo was a 16 year old corner forward for the County in 1934 & 1935 )
Leo is pictured above with his nephew Sean McGinley of Kilcar, and Eoin “Bomber” Liston.
Donegal GAA wish to passed on it sympathy to the Leo’s family in both Donegal & Limerick
