The U14 Boy’s footballers claimed a great win in their County Championship Final against neighbours Termon in Convoy after a superb display, running out winners on a score of 3-11 to 2-08. Well done to the players and management.
The Seniors and Reserves also met Termon at the Burn Rd. on Sunday. The Reserves had a big win with the Seniors game being a much closer affair with the lads getting a good win in the end. Both teams will host N. Conaill this Saturday with the games throwing in at 5:30pm (Res.) and 7pm (Seniors).
The Senior Hurlers had a good win in the Championship round-robin at home against Aodh Ruadh, BS on Saturday and they are back in championship action this Wednesday (17th) with another home game v Setanta. This game will throw-in immediately following the U16 football game (approx. 7:15pm).
The Minor Boy’s footballers travel to Gaoth Dobhair next Tuesday (23rd) for a championship group game. Throw-in at 7pm.
Best of luck to Niall O’Donnell, Aaron Deeney, Darragh & Oisin Toal, team mentor Noel Keaveny and the Donegal minor team as they take on Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park this Sunday.
The U16 boy’s footballers had a good win over Downings last week and meet the winner of the MacCumhaills v Moville game this Wednesday night (17th) in O’Donnell Park at 6pm in the Northern League semi-final.
The U16 hurlers were beaten in Buncrana last week and travel this Thursday (18th) to Burt for a league game. The U12 hurlers had a good win over the Gaels last week and they host MacCumhaills this Thursday.
The U16 girls get their campaign underway at last with an away game v neighbours Glenswilly this Tuesday (16th) at 7:30pm.
The U16 Camogie team were narrowly beaten by Burt last week and their next game is away to Carndonagh with day and time tbc.
The U13 boy’s footballers begin their campaigns this Friday with the div. 1 team at home to Buncrana and the Div. 3 (U12) team away to MacCumhaills. Both games throw-in at 7pm.
The U11 boys have a home game this Tuesday night against N. Colmcille. Throw in is at 6:45pm.
There will be no Century Cinemas Sunday Morning Football Academy this Sunday (21st) due to Donegal’s involvement in the All-Ireland Minor football semi-final and the Donegal Marathon also taking place.
