The Seniors lost by the narrowest of margins in a low scoring encounter against neighbours Glenswilly that owed more to poor shooting that defensive tactics, despite what you may have heard elsewhere! The Reserves meanwhile were involved in a high scoring (!) draw that finished 1-07 apiece.
The Junior men went down to MacCumhaills in their league game on Saturday evening and they will take on neighbours Glenswilly away on Friday evening in their second championship game.
The Minor hurlers turned in a super display against Buncrana in their Championship Final last Thursday night with good performances all over the pitch and a man of the match display from Kevin Kealy at midfield. Eoin McLaughlin pulled off a wonder save with 5 minutes left, while young Shane O’Donnell scored a point that would have graced Semple Stadium or Croke Park. A last minute goal from Buncrana took the title to Scarvey but the lads can be very proud of their display as they went down by 3-06 to 1-11
The Senior hurlers are scheduled to meet Buncrana away in the Championship round-robin on Saturday evening at 7:30pm. It remains to be seen if the fixture will be affected by the Donegal Senior & Minor footballers in Croke Park.
Well done to our players that were part of the Donegal U21 Hurling team that won the All-Ireland C championship last week, they now take on Kerry on Saturday week in Semple Stadium at 4pm (6th of August).
The Minor girl’s footballers had a good win over neighbours Glenswilly on Tuesday night.

The U14 Boy’s footballers went down by 5 points to neighbours Termon on Monday night in the Northern Championship Final. They will meet Ardara in the county semi-final in Glenfin this Friday evening at 7pm. We will host the other semi-final between Termon and Aodh Ruadh BS.
The U14 girl’s footballers turned in a good display against Termon in their County final in Convoy on Friday night and led for much of the game before going down. The girls worked really hard all year and no doubt they will come back even stronger. Many of them will be lining out for the U13’s in the coming weeks.
