BUNCRANA CLG NOTES (12.06.2016)
Best of luck to our U14 hurling Feile team next weekend.
Our U10 Boys travelled to a tournament in Ardara last Monday, where there was excellent football on display….Our 2 teams played their hearts out and with pure determination and skillful football helped one team get to the cup final beating Killybegs, Ardara, Temon on their way, but unfortunately it wasn’t our day as Naomh Columba narrowly beat us in the end. Our other team made it to the shield semi final beating Killybegs, and kilcar but found four masters too strong. If monday is anything to go by the future is very bright for these players. Thanks to Ardara GAA for the invitation and to all the coaches and parents who travelled.
U10 Girls
Great day with our U10s yesterday! The girls played McCumhnaills (on the big pitch!)
There were great performances all over the pitch by all girls but it was a very close game and some late shots by Ciara McGee made the difference & the buncrana girls came away with a great win!
After the game we went to the Finn Valley centre for a presentation were Tara Rose Mahon got a special mention for her dancing! & the girls were presented with medals by Mickey Harte as well as meeting a few of the Donegal ladies players!
