A busy week for Gaels camogs started with a home win for U14 girls against Four Masters and the first blitz of the year for the U8’s and U10s in Carndonagh. Over 20 girls took part in the Letterkenny School Cup on Tuesday in O’Donnell Park representing Woodlands, Illistrin and Gaelscoil. Woodlands won the competition and followed that by retaining the Cumann na Bunscol large school camogie title on Thursday defeating St Patricks Carndonagh in an exciting and skilful match – final score Woodlands 4.4 – 2.0 St Patricks. 17 of 19 girls in the squad are Gaels camogs.
