The Intermediate championship got under way on Saturday evening as Cloughaneely faced Aodh Ruadh in our only home game of the championship. The reserves sailed through their game and held Aodh Ruadh scoreless throughout the 2nd half. Final Score 3-6|0-2. For the seniors it was a neck and neck battle from beginning to end, but the lads were unfortunate to be defeated by a 3 point margin in the end with a final score of 4-8|2-11.
It’s back to league action this weekend as Cloughaneely to MacCumhaills for the return leg of the league on Sunday May 22nd, reserves 1:30, seniors 3:00 pm.
***Minors***
Well done to our Minors who had a very convincing win over Naomh Brid / Pettigo in County Minor League Division Two Semi Final last week. We wish them all the best in the county final!
***Club Lotto***
The numbers drawn last Wednesday, May 11th, were 5, 7, 8, 10,11, 20. There was no Jackpot winner! Jackpot now rises to €2600! There were no match 5 winners either. There were 22 match 4 winners! As there were more than 4 match 4 winners we drew 1 winner for the €100 prize- and the lucky ticket was Danny McFadden, Shroughan! Congratulations Danny!! Tickets are now on sale in various outlets throughout Falcarragh and will be on sale just before the draw each Wednesday night before the bingo in Gortahork.
