Our Senior and Reserve men had the weekend off. Next weekend looks like it is going to be a busy one with two games scheduled. Confirmation of dates and times will be posted to social media.
Underage Football
Underage training for our Under 8’s, 10’s and 12’s continues every Saturday morning in Foden at 11.00am. Our Fundamentals training for Under 6’s also continues every Saturday morning at 11.15am in Foden. New members welcome.
Under 8 Girls Football
Our Under 8 Girls played Buncrana in Foden on Friday evening. Great turnout and a great effort from all the girls.
Under 10 Girls Football
Our Under 10 girls played Buncrana on Friday evening in Foden. There was one team of 9 aside and a total of 14 girls in the squad. We have a very young team but all girls got to play a different position and got plenty of football.
Under 8 Boys Football
Our Under 8 Boys played Buncrana in Foden on Saturday morning. Some great football by the boys as they put the skills they are learning at training into action
Under 10 Boys Football
Our Under 10 boys played away to Buncrana on Saturday morning. The day started wet and the boys were wondering if the game would still go ahead. When they arrived in Buncrana, thankfully it was a dry and Buncrana were fantastic hosts. The boys have trained hard since they met Buncrana in a blitz earlier in the year and they were ready for the contest. Putting in all their efforts the boys competed for every ball, they can be proud to wear the Carn jersey. They had a really enjoyable day. Well done to them all.
Thanks again to Buncrana GAA for hosting the match. Training continues Monday 2nd May 10am – 11.45am and training next Saturday as currently the team have no match organised. If any parent could volunteer to collect the money at training that would be a great help.
Under 12 Boys Football
Well done to our Under 12 Boys who played Burt on Tuesday evening in very wintry conditions in Foden and secured the win in a very low scoring game. The game was a 15 aside game with Carn having a squad of 23 players. With the weather conditions it was hard to play flowing football but the boys showed great determination. All 23 boys were on the field for some football and it was great to see the good turnout. Their next game will be against Naomh Padraig on Tuesday 3rd May.
Under 14 Boys Football
Our Under 14 Boys were due to play Letterkenny Gaels last Friday evening in the Northern Board quarter-
final. Letterkenny Gaels did not field so the team now awaits news of their next fixture. Details will be posted on facebook and twitter.
Under 16 Boys Football
Good luck to our under 16 Boys who will play in the Darren Downey/Gary McLaughlin U16A final on Sunday 8th May against Naomh Padraig. Get out and support our young team.

Congratulations
Well done to Amy Porter, Darina Gillen, Niamh Diver Hall, Cian Doherty and Sean O’Donnell who all took part in the mini-game during half-time of the Donegal –v- Fermanagh hurling game. It was a great experience for our young club members.
Senior Ladies
The senior ladies played Buncrana this morning in the Shield competition Division 1. It was a tough battle between the two teams but Buncrana were victorious in the end by 2 points. Buncrana dominated most the first half and Carndonagh struggled to find their rhythm. Towards the end of the half Carn began to fight back and the 2nd half was dominated by Carn. The girls really upped their game and kept chipping points over gradually closing the gap on Buncrana. With time running out Carn won a free just outside the 13 metre line, and instead of taking a point the ball was blasted to the net leaving 2 points between the teams. Unfortunately time ran out soon after and the game ended 4 07 to 2 11 with Buncrana holding on for a win by the skin of their teeth. There were a number of different scorers for Carn today, which is great for the team. The girls will not like the end result but they should be delighted with the grit and determination they showed bringing the game to such a close finish. The girls had a few missed chances, on another day they could’ve scored all of them but there are plenty more games ahead to improve their performances. Training continues every Wednesday & Friday evening in Foden from 6.45pm – 8.15pm.
