A home Division 2 game against Killybegs kicks off what could be potentially a very busy weekend for the seniors this weekend. With 6 points from a possible 10 Na Galloglaigh are off to a decent start in Division 2 and with more wins on the road than at home will want to balance that stat when they take on Killybegs on Friday. The Reserve game throws in at 6pm with the Seniors afterwards at 7.15pm. All support for both teams would be greatly appreciated.

*Seniors*
Malin 1-7 CLG BnaG 0-12
Our Seniors got their second away win of the season on Sunday against an understrength Malin team. They started very very brightly in the opening 20 minutes playing fast free flowing football against a breeze and led 0-5 to 0-1 at a stage before allowing Malin back into the game. Late in the half there was a contentious decision when Pauric Curley felt he was fouled in the box only for the referee to give a free instead of a penalty, had the penalty been awarded and converted the boys might have gone in further ahead at half time but as it stood it was 0-6 to 0-4 at the break. It took a while for Na Galloglaigh to get going in the second half as Malin defended very well but thanks to the free taking of Gary Merritt the boys were always able to keep the Inishowen men at arms length. However with less than 10 minutes to go and 2 points in it Malin struck for goal when a scramble at the edge of the box that was finished to the bottom corner. This left for a nervy finale but again Merritt kept his cool when needed to get vital scores while all over the pitch Na Galloglaigh were working hard and putting in the tackles to prevent a repeat of what happened against Glen last week. In the end the boys held out for a deserved win by 0-12 to 1-7 and face a busy weekend next week. They play at home to Killybegs in the league at 7.15pm on Friday before taking on Ardara in the Senior Gaeltacht Semi Final on Sunday at 3pm in Glenties. All support for both these games would be greatly appreciated. Team: Sean Gallagher, Kieran Sheridan, Barry McNulty, Conor McNulty, Gary Merritt (0-7), Gavin Grier, Brandon Toye, Sean Black, Anthony Fisher, Christopher Barrett (0-1), Pauric Curley (0-2), Jonny Logue, David Curley (0-1), Darragh Black (0-1), Paddy Peoples. Subs: Tj Evesson and Luke Barrett for S. Black and Toye (38m), Kyle Black for Logue (45m), Adam Serrinha for Grier (52m), S. Black for Sheridan (56m), Cormac Friel, Cormac Toland, Caolan Bolton
*Reserves*
Malin 1-7 CLG BnaG 3-5
It was a worthwhile trip to Malin for the Reserves as they came away with a vital win. With numerous players unavailable they had to turn to some legends of the past to join the cause! Despite having the majority of possession in the 1st half Na Galloglaigh failed to convert their chances and it was Malin who led at half time 1-5 to 0-3. Malin further extended their lead early in the 2nd half and led by 7 points with 15 minutes remaining. However the introduction of the experienced Aodh McCormack off the bench was the catalyst for the comeback. McCormack set up fellow veteran Nigel Black to score a point, and Paul Fisher for a goal which he finished brilliantly to the bottom corner. Fisher, playing in his adopted home town, put in a man of the match performance and added a 2nd goal soon after. With Na Galloglaigh leading for the 1st time in the game and the momentum behind them they pushed on for further scores and added a 3rd goal. Malin pushed forwward trying to salvage something from the game but Conall McFadden and his defence dealt superbly with anything that was thrown at them. Gary Helferty added his 4th point of the game late on to seal a brilliant win, 1-7 to 3-5. Team: Conall McFadden, Cathal Diver, Gearoid Horkan, Shay Durning, Nigel Black (0-1), Cormac Friel, Caolan Bolton, Cormac Toland, Emmet Conaghan, Ciaran McHugh, Patrick Ferry, Paul Fisher (2-0), Gary Helferty (0-4). Subs: James Mc Callum for Horkan (15m), Aodh McCormack for Conaghan (45m)
