U14 Boys
Last week our under 14 boys followed on from their victory over Emmets with a well deserved 9-15 to 3-6 victory over Glenfin. The game was over as a contest after 20 minutes however the lads continued to play on. Good performances from ruairi McLaughlin, ruairi Campbell dean Harvey in the backline. Cody Laverty dominant in midfield with Jack Bradley and Ryan Coyle excellent up front. Every player did his bit. Work will have to be done to improve in defence with 3-6 a lot to concede.. a strong panel of 22 togged out and the two Dohertys and caolan Alexander to welcome back to the squad. Everyone needed out as we work on the weak areas. Thanks to the travelling support who cheered the boy’s on.
Senior Men
Last monday the senior men helped themselves to a 1-13 to 0-6 derby win over Naomh Padraig, Lifford. Pauric McMenamin’s goal fired Red Hughs into a six-point half-time lead. Damien Browne notched seven points for the team, while Colm Melaugh and Gerard Melaugh scored a handful between them as they registered first win of the season. There next game is against Na Rossa on Sunday 1oth april at home with throw in at 5:15pm.
Reserves
